Savage Gear | Mutant Rat | Loose Body – 24cm 43g

Savage Gear 3D Rad (Mutant/Rad Rat) soft-body rat lure is a highly realistic topwater and diving rodent imitation designed to trigger explosive strikes from predatory fish.

Based on a precise 3D scan of a real rat, this hybrid lure combines a tough ABS hard body with soft, flexible appendages for unmatched lifelike movement and durability. Soft rubber/PVC ears, feet/legs, and a braid-core reinforced tail create natural swimming action that fools even wary bass, pike, musky, and big catfish. The tail clips on easily for quick replacement (spare included), while a nylon mesh joint delivers free-range flexibility and strength against toothy predators.

Key features for anglers

• Two versatile swimming actions: Tie to the bill/lip for wide waking topwater S-curve rolls that mimic a rat swimming on the surface; switch to the nose for realistic subsurface diving. On a stop, high buoyancy makes it pop up dramatically to provoke reaction strikes.
• Noisy appeal + realism: Clunking rattle, real whiskers, balanced belly landing, and detailed 3D contours, colors, and textures.
• Hook & cover options: Dual ultra-sharp Savage Gear Y-trebles standard; larger sizes offer back-hook/stinger weedless rigging for heavy cover, weeds, or snags.
• Durability: Soft body parts enhance movement while the hard core withstands brutal attacks.

The Savage Gear Mutant Rat / 3D Rad soft-body rat bait is a proven big-fish producer for topwater, subsurface, and cover fishing. Ideal for serious predator anglers seeking the most realistic rat soft-body lure on the market.
