Berkley PowerBait Cullminnow

Softbait – New V-Tail Predator Soft Plastic

Introducing the all-new Berkley PowerBait Cullminnow – a fresh evolution of the popular CullShad platform, purpose-built for UK predator anglers. This softbait takes the proven large-profile body, Honey Comb durability and PowerBait scent technology of the CullShad and replaces the paddle tail with a high-action V-tail (forked/split tail) for a more realistic minnow profile and sharper, darting action in the water.

Designed for Natural Minnow Imitation

The Cullminnow’s V-tail delivers a subtle yet highly effective kick and quiver that mimics a wounded or fleeing baitfish. Combined with the deep, streamlined body inherited from the CullShad, it produces a natural swimming motion that works on both slow and moderate retrieves. The result is a softbait that looks and moves like a real minnow while still offering the drawing power of a bigger profile – ideal when fish are keyed in on smaller forage or when a more finesse presentation is required.

Signature Berkley PowerBait Advantages

• PowerBait scent and flavour infusion – Fish hold on significantly longer once they bite, giving you more time to set the hook and improve landing rates.
• Patent-pending Honey Comb Technology – Increases durability without sacrificing the soft, lifelike action. The bait withstands repeated casts, aggressive takes from pike and zander, and stays fishing longer.
• Versatile rigging – Excellent on jig heads, screw-lock systems, drop-shot, Carolina and Texas rigs, or as a trailer. The V-tail profile also shines when worked with a subtle twitch-and-pause retrieve.

Perfect for UK Waters and Species

Whether you’re targeting pike in weedy margins, zander on deep drop-offs, perch around structure, or trout in clear rivers and stillwaters, the Cullminnow adapts to a wide range of conditions. Its minnow-like V-tail action is particularly effective in clearer water or pressured fisheries where a more natural presentation outperforms bulky paddle tails.

Available here at The Pike Shop in a selection of proven colours to match local baitfish – from natural shad and silver tones to high-visibility options for coloured water. Pair it with your preferred jig head weight to control depth and sink rate for precise presentations throughout the water column.

The Berkley PowerBait Cullminnow brings together the best elements of the CullShad with a dedicated V-tail design that offers a distinct swimming action. Stock up on this new softbait and give UK predators a presentation they haven’t seen before – realistic, durable, and loaded with the scent and flavour that makes PowerBait so effective.

Ideal for bank and boat anglers looking for a versatile, high-performance minnow softbait that delivers more bites and more fish.
